“Ever since I was sixteen, I have started many of my journal entries with Good morning, Lord (usually with a heart drawn next to it). There’s a feeling of a fresh start in this prayer. And looking back at my many (maybe too many) journal entries, there was a sweetness to these words. No matter what was happening in my life, there was still a newness, a freshness, and a sense of anticipation for all that God held for me in the day ahead.

My heart in these pages is that you would be encouraged to start your day (whether you’re an early bird or a night owl) with the wondrous grace of God. Depending fully on His love, His mercy, and His view of you, with the knowledge that trusting Him in the little things will create the flourishing life you desire.
